But what are some items that may be difficult to determine if they should go into your recycling or trash cart? Can I put my magazines into the recycling cart when I’m done reading them? Definitely! This form of paper is recyclable and can go into your recycling cart. What about all the small items I find in my desk drawers? Items like paper clips, rubber bands, binder clips, and tape dispensers should go into your trash bin. Remember: when in doubt, throw it out.
