No Trash or Recycling Pick Up on New Year’s Day

Happy New Year’s Eve, Peoria! Besides wishing you all a Happy New Year, we wanted to remind you PDC is not picking up trash or recycling on New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

This will not affect Monday or Tuesday routes. For the rest of the week, please follow this schedule:

• If you are Wednesday, set carts out on Thursday.
• If you are Thursday, set carts out on Friday.
• If you are Friday, set out carts on Saturday.

Carts, cans, and all materials may be set out the day before pickup as early as 3:00 p.m. but must be out by 6:00 a.m. on pickup day to avoid missing a collection. All trash should be bagged, even materials in the trash cart. This helps reduce litter throughout our community.

Natural Christmas trees are continuing to be picked up as part of your normal trash collection service with no special request needed. Visit Yard Waste to learn how to prepare your Christmas trees for collection.
